Hillsboro desk conditions: what you accept when you reserve a PDX transfer

1. Two roles: reading requests, running rides

Lester Limo Van Service is a privately owned reservations desk in Hillsboro. It passes your ride request to one Oregon transportation company; that company confirms the fare in writing, drives you and takes your payment. Riders pay the desk nothing. The contract for the ride itself is between you and that company, on the terms in its written quote.

2. Requests and quotes

A request is an inquiry. A quote is the company's offer; a booking exists when you accept the quote in writing, and the company then sends its written confirmation. Quotes cost nothing and you may let them lapse.

3. Starting fares versus the accepted amount

Fares shown on the site are starting amounts per vehicle, one way. The amount that binds is the one in the accepted quote, which names every part of it. Once accepted it is a fixed rate unless the ride changes; a change is quoted in writing first, and extra waiting is charged at the rate the quote names.

4. Settling the fare with the company

You pay the transportation company, by the method the quote names. Riders pay the desk nothing, and card details go only to the company.

5. Your part

Requests are taken from adults (18 or older) arranging a ride for themselves or their group. Give the correct number of riders, bags, addresses and flight details. If a group arrives larger than requested, the company may refuse the extra riders when the vehicle has no belted seat for them.

6. Canceling, as the quote states it

Cancellation works as set out in your written quote and on the changes and refunds page.

7. Driving, vehicles and payment sit with the company

The desk's part is passing your request on accurately and promptly, and helping you reach the company. The driving, the vehicle and the payment are the responsibility of the company that runs the ride.

8. Shipping and goods

Nothing is sold or shipped through this site. Bags ride with their riders, in the same vehicle.

9. Copying the site's text and images

The text, layout and pictures of this site belong to Lester Limo Van Service LLC. You may print a page or keep a copy for your own ride; copying it for another business needs written permission.

10. Limits of what the desk owes you

The desk answers for passing your request on with care. It is not liable for the ride itself, which the transportation company runs, nor for delays caused by flights, weather or roads. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under Oregon law.

11. Dated revisions

A change is posted on this page with a new date. A request sent before that date is handled under the version that applied on the day it arrived.

12. Oregon law, and where complaints go first

Oregon law governs these terms. A question or complaint about the desk goes first to requests@lesterlimovanservice.net; the desk answers within five business days.
